this little life of mine

I'm not sure exactly what year this was taken, but it was sometime in the early- to mid-80s when I was in high school.  I was forever trying to get a nice, even tan, but never quite managed it (outside a tanning bed). I remember many summer days spent out on this deck armed with baby oil and a spray bottle, and usually just ended up sunburned while all my friends were a beautiful golden brown. 

In the basement of our little house in Paso, WA. We got the chair from saving S&H stamps, I'm pretty sure my grandma made my outfit, and the desk was my dad's; it was heavy, metal, and super cool! Sure wish we still had it!
