this little life of mine

Hello and welcome back! For the letter C, I chose cat. It was hard to pick just one of my cat stamps, but I'd been wanting to use this little guy from Paula Best for a long time, so I just went for it! I stamped, coloured, and cut him out, and stuck him to a piece of pattern paper that I thought looked like a fancy living room. Then, because that didn't seem like enough, I stuck that to a piece of thin cork I had in my stash, and glued that to one of my art journal pages. I didn't like the unfinished edges, so I used some gold washi tape to create a boarder around it. Then, because I wasn't happy with all the empty space between my cat and the flourish at the top of the patterned paper, I ripped the mirror out of my Benefit Rockateur blush box, and glued it to the "wall". It already came with the textured pattern around it that I thought kind of went with the scene! I'm not really happy with the cork and the washi tape, but I do like how the little "living room" scene came out! Have a great Tuesday! Cheers!
