A is for April
April 01, 2017
For this year's Blogging from A to Z Challenge, I decided to try to do some rubber stamp art projects, either a page of my new art journal, or a greeting card, or just a fun design I've had swimming in my head. It's a lot of work - a LOT more than just taking photographs, which is what I usually do! - so I'm not guaranteeing I'll make every single day, but I'm sure going to try!
Anyway, for the letter A, I have my April calendar page:
So, it's pretty simple and easy to do: I stamped my empty egg stamp from Stampa Barbara on patterned paper, heat embossed them with black embossing powder, because the ink I chose to stamp with was smearing, and cut them out. I glued several of them randomly across the bottom of the page, and added some stamped tufts of grass (also Stampa Barbara), and some ground with a brown coloured pencil. The sentiment at the top is from Memory Box, and I purchased the blank calendar at topnotchcalendars.com. Enjoy! Cheers!
