Blogging From A to Z Challenge

I'm late to the party on yet another challenge, but, what the heck, I'll try it anyway. This one is the Blogging from A to Z Challenge where you write blog posts based on the letters of the alphabet for the month of April. I'm not really sure exactly what I'll do with this challenge - some folks are picking a theme they will run the whole month, but since I'm jumping in kinda late I don't really have time to plan everything out. It's a pity I don't hear about these things sooner!
Anyway, I might as well start off today with the letter A, and probably the simplest A word on the plante: Apple.
This shot was a true spur-of-the-moment shot for the March Photo a Day Challenge where the theme was fruit. This apple was one of several one of my co-workers (who is lucky enought to have an apple tree!) brought in to share with us. I grabbed the first one I saw, shined it up on my pants, set it on the table and took the shot. I think it came out really well considering there was very little thought put into it!
