Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
•Grab your current read
•Open to a random page
•Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
•BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
•Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
This week I have two teasers for your reading pleasure: The Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Lee Stewart and The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins.

And secondly, from The Hunger Games page 77:
But even as I utter the words, I feel my insides contracting with anxiety and guilt at the sight of her, and while I can't pull it up, I know some bad memory is associated with her. The expression of terror that crosses her face only adds to my confusion and unease.
Happy Tuesday!!
A very old book found in the museum of the Santa Barbara Mission. I love how they have it displayed with an old pair of wire-rimmed glasses!
